o Marketing strategies & tactics – advertising (print, mail, broadcast), brand development (or redevelopment), use of Internet and online opportunities, incorporation of best-in-class e-commerce, business and/or social networks and more
o Financial strategies – updating short and long term projections, analysis of past results, understanding of financial drivers and determining cash requirements
Execution is everything: Continually updating strategies serves as a blueprint for the future of a business, regardless of industry, market, or company size. Left alone, strategies ‘spoil’. ROI - Getting or increasing Return on Investment is the goal of any business. It often begins with a “business audit”, a process that looks at all aspects of a business – strategies, marketing plan, brand, forecasts, operations, customer service, advertising, sales and financial results, etc. A business audit, which is not necessarily a unique concept and should not be equated with a formal financial audit, allows everyone to understand where you are, where you want to go and what will be required to take you there.
